Elfworks partnering with Padmore City – the “Sim City” for tax training

From 1 September 2025, the city-themed tax and accounting training platform Padmore City will be accessible through Elfworks at no extra cost.

The Padmore City product has previously been sold as CCH Learning Fundamentals; this arrangement ends 31 August 2025.

What is Padmore City?

Padmore City is a scenario-based learning experience for tax, super and business services training that delivers information and tests learners through real-life case studies. Instead of being the passive recipient of information through an online course, Webinar or face-to-face session, learners create a character, step into the City and move from client-to-client providing guidance and solving client problems.

Users will find 80+ hours of training in Tax, Super and Business Acumen at the Beginner level and a further 30+ hours at the Intermediate level. The platform provides detailed reports of Learner progress throughout.

Current Padmore City customers

All learning history is retained and you will be contacted with new log-in details on Friday the 29^th of August 2025.

Current Elfworks customers

Padmore City will be available as part of the Professional and Premium subscriptions from 1 September 2025. Simply login to Elfworks and click on the “Padmore City” tab bottom left and you’re in.
